The Bridgewater Public Library Archives and Special Collections, housed in the Lorraine B. Daley Historical Room, exists to collect, preserve, and provide access to materials that document the local history of the Town of Bridgewater, the Bridgewater community, and the immediate surrounding area.

The collection includes letters, maps, photographs, annual Town of Bridgewater reports beginning in 1854, Town of Bridgewater street lists beginning in 1927, local high school yearbooks beginning in the 1920s, and other resources related to Bridgewater, MA local history. There are also a number of published works related to the Plymouth County area and Bridgewater, MA.
